The Medford Band is a performing arts program offered to students in the Medford Public Schools in Medford, MA. Although the concert program has been around for decades, it was not until 2012 that the program grew to include a competitive marching band. Ever since, the program has continued to expand and impact many students. Our newest group is the Winter Guard, which won a championship title in their inaugural 2018 season.

The Medford Band prides itself on serving our community and providing our students with high quality musical opportunities. We have been featured on JAMN 94.5, KISS 108, WROR, and walked a PUMA fashion show; we have performed concerts at Fenway Park, Gillette Stadium, Six Flags, Hershey Park, and Disney World; and we have provided music for the American Cancer Society, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the Make A Wish Foundation.

The group is run by Mrs. Haley Rello, Medford High School’s band director, and a small group of teaching staff.  We receive support from the Medford Band Parent Organization, a small and dedicated group of volunteer parents.
