NESBA Finals is tomorrow!! Woo hoo!!

8:30am Arrive at Medford High School for BPO breakfast

9:30am Bus leaves for Lawrence High School

10:15am Approximate arrival in Lawrence

10:45am Visual Warm up

11:45am Music warm up

12:15pm Gate Time

12:28pm Performance

3:00pm Get changed and head back into the stadium

2:54pm First Award Ceremony

(Any student that needs to leave after the first award ceremony can get picked up in Lawrence by a guardian if they bring a note in the morning)

7:01pm 2nd Awards Ceremony

7:30pm Load bus and head back to Medford High

Don’t forget Black socks, marching shoes, gloves and PSYCH BAG!!!

Please bring plenty of layers, money for the concession stand and a focused mind! We have been working all season for tomorrows performance, lets make it our best one yet!!

This Weekend 10/27-10/29

Friday 10/27 – Football Game

We will be following the regular football-day schedule this Friday. High School students should report to the band room after school to load the trailer and buses. Middle school students should head to Hormel after school to meet the buses from the high school. We will have rehearsal at Hormel then head over to the Andrews for dinner and to change into uniforms around 5:30pm, as usual. The game starts at 7pm. DON’T FORGET TO BRING A BAGGED DINNER, MARCHING SHOES, SOCKS, AND GLOVES!

Saturday 10/28 – NESBA Reading

9:30am – Arrive at the high school and bring equipment to the practice field
10am-1:30pm – Rehearsal
1:30-2pm – Load Trailer
2-3pm – Break (Dinner, change into uniforms, load buses, etc)
3pm – Bus departs MHS
3:30pm – arrive in Reading
4:45pm – Performance
6:20pm – Awards
7:15pm – End of Day

DON’T FORGET TO BRING A BAGGED DINNER, SNACKS, WATER, MARCHING SHOES, SOCKS, GLOVES, AND COMFY CLOTHES TO CHANGE INTO AFTER THE PERFORMANCE!

11am – Bus departs
12pm – Arrive at Lawrence
1:36pm – Performance
2:40pm – Awards
3:00pm – Depart Lawrence (head to MHS)
4:00pm – End of Day

3:00pm – Depart Lawrence (head to Boston)
4:30-7:30pm – Practice
7:30pm – Show begins
8:15pm – Head to MHS
9pm – End of Day

*Students going to the fashion show will not change out of uniform after the competition.

12:00-12:45pm Lunch break at the field (please bring a bagged lunch students will not be allowed to leave)
3:00-3:30pm- Load trailer
3:30-4:30pm- Eat and get changed into uniform (please bring food to eat, students will not be allowed to leave or order food during this time)
4:30pm Bus leaves for Wakefield High School
5:00pm- Arrival in Wakefield
5:30-6:00pm- Warm Up
6:00pm Depart for Gate
6:10pm- Gate
6:15pm- Performance
8:30pm- Award Ceremony
9:00pm- Leave Wakefield and head back to MHS
*Students will call for a ride home when we get close to Medford.
*Students should bring plenty of snacks, drinks and comfy warm clothes to change into.

5:55pm- Gate

6:00pm- Performance

8:35pm- Award Ceremony

9:00pm- Leave Melrose and head back to MHS

*Students will call for a ride home when we get close to Medford.

*Students should bring plenty of snacks, drinks and comfy warm clothes to change into.

Sunday 10/15 MICCA Medford Clinic

12:00pm Arrive at Hormel Stadium and unload trailer

12:30pm Warm up/Fitchburg Band arrives

1:00-3:00pm Clinic with MICCA judges

3:00pm Cookout with Fitchburg Band and Judges

4:00pm Pack up, students need to be picked up at Hormel or make arrangements to get home.

*Students do not need to wear uniforms. Street clothes are fine as long as they are appropriate to march in and follow the MHS band handbook.

9:00pm- Award Ceremony

9:30pm- Leave Gardner and head back to MHS

NESBA Medford

Today’s NESBA event is on! Rehearsal this morning from 10am-2pm will be at the Andrews Middle School. Please bring lots of layers, snacks, and water. Don’t forget black socks, your band shoes, a bagged dinner, and your gloves. Any parent volunteers signed up to help: please arrive by 3pm. Looking forward to an awesome competition today!
